The Shocking Solar Farm Bird Deaths the Mainstream Media Aren’t Telling You About
While solar energy is constantly praised as “green” and environmentally friendly, this February 2025 report from Iowa Climate reveals a disturbing reality: massive bird deaths at solar farms. The article highlights how the mainstream media largely ignores this significant environmental cost
Solar farms are killing large numbers of birds, including protected species, through a combination of habitat destruction, collisions with panels, and “solar flux” (intense heat from concentrated sunlight). The piece argues that these ecological impacts are being downplayed in favor of the renewable energy narrative.
This story serves as an important counterpoint to the constant hype surrounding solar power and raises questions about whether large-scale solar installations are truly as environmentally benign as claimed.
