The Church as the Living Presence of Christ Across Time

During Holy Week, we are invited not only to remember what Christ did, but to enter into it.

Years ago, as a young mother, I began incorporating a modified Seder meal into our family life. It was a way of helping our children see that salvation history is not abstract. It is lived, remembered, and handed on.

The Jewish Passover finds its fulfillment in Christ. The Last Supper is not simply a meal in the past. It is the beginning of something that continues through the Church, through the liturgy, and even into the home.

This reflection explores a simple but profound truth:

The Church is not an idea.
She is the extension of Jesus Christ through space and time.

This video remains especially fitting for Holy Week. It speaks to the role of the family, the meaning of ritual, and the continuity between the Old Covenant and the New.
