The Art of Dying Well I

Fall Harvest wheat and grapes, Eucharist banquet, heaven

  1. Dying is a subject that is taboo even though it comes for every person, and no one is owed a tomorrow. Suffering is also a subject without an anchor in our society. To die well, one should prepare while one is living and in full use of their faculties.

NB To the extent possible, suffering and death should be supported but at the end neither can be avoided.

Art of Dying Well must be preceded by Living Well. Key how does one define living well? Great confusion in modern times. We live with so little inconvenience, compared to a 100 yrs ago. People are annoyed by our awesome life. Inability to detach from life. Expectations almost unachievable, resentment, guilt. Focus on the present, doing the next good thing, Art of Living well.
